Multidimensional Soil Analysis SoilEO and FarmTech

SoilEO and FarmTech jointly analyse soil using the most advanced methods in Europe.

We do this because soil health and agricultural efficiency are crucial for farmers, consumers, and for us.

Modern laboratory analysis of deep soil profiles

Classical soil analysis method with a broad spectrum of parameters

Innovative satellite analysis of the entire soil surface

The satellite method provides detailed results of the analysis of the entire topsoil layer.

Synergy of remote and laboratory analysis

Combination of satellite (large-scale) and laboratory analysis methods

What is Multidimensional Soil Analysis SoilEO and FarmTech?

The combination of laboratory testing services and remote, non-invasive satellite methods provides complementary knowledge about soil fertility at different depth intervals and across its entire surface.

Knowledge about soil fertility in macroelements and acidity levels provides information on how to plan the dosage of fertilizers containing:

  • Magnesium
  • Potassium
  • Phosphorus
  • pH

Knowledge of macroelement fertility, divided into areas as small as 0.1 ha (~30m), provides information on how to fertilize and additionally delivers much faster, accurate averages of field zones, leading to savings and proper fertilizer dosing.

When is it worth using?

  • When creating a fertilization plan based on the actual content of elements in the soil such as N, Mg, P, K, pH.
  • When you need quick information about soil fertility before applying fertilizers.
  • When you’re interested in a much broader range of analysis, including: pH in KCl; P, B, Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn, S; Corg./soil humus; Electrical conductivity/salinity; pH in H2O; CEC (cation exchange capacity); TCEC (total cation exchange capacity); Exchangeable cations.
  • When, thanks to laboratory analysis, you want to receive funding from various subsidy programs like Eco-schemes, Agriculture 4.0.
  • When you want a much more accurate average of field fertility compared to the current method of using just a few dozen samples over a 4ha area.
  • When you aim for savings in fertilizer dosing by analyzing more field segments.
  • When you want to use precision farming and leverage analyses for variable fertilizer application.

When you value cooperation with high-quality service providers who offer more, more precisely, faster, and better than expected.

How to use the analysis results?

By combining knowledge from laboratory and high-resolution satellite analyses, you can plan fertilization more accurately and on time, benefiting from the in-depth insights of both types of tests.

With satellite analysis of macroelements at a resolution of up to 4ha, you can plan the next fertilization in a traditional manner, but one that correctly reflects the average soil condition, as the averaging comes from analyzing the entire field surface, not just a few dozen samples.

With high-resolution macroelement analysis of up to 0.1ha, you can more accurately and quickly calculate fertilizer doses, apply variable dosing, and reduce some costs.

With detailed laboratory analysis, you can achieve better yields with lower inputs.

By having a multidimensional analysis that combines laboratory and satellite analysis, you take advantage of all the benefits of both services, allowing you to use them for various subsidy programs like Eco-schemes, Agriculture 4.0.

Multidimensional Soil Analysis tailored to your needs

Step 1
You

You order one or several of the following soil analysis services:

  • Macronutrients analyzed in the laboratory
  • Macronutrients analyzed via satellite in standard resolutions up to 4ha
  • Macronutrients analyzed via satellite in high resolution down to 0.1ha
  • Detailed laboratory analysis
  • Fertilization recommendations
Step 2.1
You

After ordering the analysis from the laboratory

If you have only ordered laboratory tests, you take the samples or have them collected by our recommended partners, which are then sent to the FarmTech laboratory.

Step 2.2
You

After ordering the analysis from the laboratory and satellite

If you have ordered both laboratory and satellite analyses, you take the samples or have them collected and sent to the FarmTech laboratory, and then you wait for the satellite imaging to occur during the specified period.

Step 2.3
You

After ordering the satellite analysis

If you have only ordered satellite analysis, you wait for the satellite imaging to occur during the specified period.

If imaging does not occur due to adverse weather conditions, the option of traditional FarmTech laboratory analysis remains.

Step 3
We

Receiving the results

After the analyses are completed, you receive the results and, if additional recommendation services were purchased, you also receive the recommendations.
